Bootleg Series Wines

All orders must be made in multiples of 12 to fill a case.

Misfit Vintage: 2009

Represents the adventures of three ritzy dolls dancing their way to Tin Pin Alley. Not knowing nothin’ from nothin’ but having fun in every juice joint and speakeasy along the way. Each doll has her own high personality: Viognier, a blonde, is fresh, sassy and slender, Chenin Blanc, a redhead, is juicy, fun and voluptuous, and Chardonnay, a brunette, is luscious complex and elegant.

THE WINE

A blend of 39% Pinot Gris, 38% Chardonnay, & 23% Viognier. 100% stainless steel cold-fermented 8 months.

THE FLAVOURS

Tropical fruit, with notes of startfruit and pineapple and hints of honey dew melon and cantaloupe. With flavours of: Fleshy white peach and kiwi with a note of minerality and crisp acidity.

PAIR WITH

A light salad, chicken, salmon, lobster, or a chowder.

Massacre Rose Vintage: 2010

It was a set-up, the “South Side Seven” have been bumped off by the “Un-crushables”... all that’s left is the mop up. The “bleeding” starts by us put’n the squeeze on a small aount of free run juice from our blockbuster grapes. With seven key varietals, it makes for a truly complex wine. St. Valentine’s Massacre Rosé has been bled to perfection. Sometimes justice is unking, in this case a one-of-a-kind wine.

THE WINE

A Saignee (bleed) of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Malbec, Pinot Noir & Pinot Gris. 100% stainless steel, cold fermented dry, 8 months vinification.

THE FLAVOURS

Fresh raspberry patch, pink grapefruit zest, strawberries n’cream. Hints of mint leaf & vanilla bean. Soft slices of white peach, nectarines & crab-apple. Hints of white cherry, gooseberry & blood orange.

PAIR WITH

Grilled chicken, salmon spicy seafood, or a bold salad.

The Big Take Vintage: 2009

A late night bull session leading to a caper of grape proportions. All dolls, molls and bearcats aside, they’re on the lam and the race is on to get the hooch harvest back to the joint. The berries are ready and the clams have been exchanged. A classic pick of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc is done and all that’s left is to take the grapes for a ride and not get pinched.

THE WINE

A blend of 45% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon & 25% Cabernet Franc. Barrel-aged for 12 months in French & American oak.

THE FLAVOURS

Soft milk chocolate, blueberry, vanilla, juicy boysenberry, brambleberry and cassis. Smooth cocoa with a nutmeg finish.

PAIR WITH

Spicy curry, seafood, pork roast, deep fried turkey, but especially with wild game!

Suspect Series Wines

Syrah Malbec Vintage: 2008

The suspects are lined up and ready to put away! The spotlight is shining on the following suspects: Syrah Malbec, Chenin Blanc Viognier & Pinot Noir.

THE WINE

A blend of 50% Syrah, 50% Malbec.
34 Months in French & American oak. Cold-Fermented.

THE FLAVOURS

Dense dark plum color hints of crimson, vibrant black plum and vanilla bean, soft violets with white pepper and nutmeg spice. Ripe blackberry and plush bing cherry, hints of smoked meat with blueberry and black pepper. Small berry finish red currents and dried cranberry. Intense nose, big palate, long finish.

PAIR WITH

Roast, bbq ribs, stew, or a rich red pasta sauce.

Chenin Blanc Viognier Vintage: 2009

The suspects are lined up and ready to put away! The spotlight is shining on the following suspects: Syrah Malbec, Chenin Blanc Viognier & Pinot Noir.

THE WINE

A blend of 69% Chenin Blanc & 31% Viognier.
Whole cluster, soft press, cold fermentation. 100% stainless steel.

THE FLAVOURS

Vibrant with subtle tones of sun bleached straw hat. Fresh grapefruit, gooseberry and orange blossom bouquet. Cantaloupe with soft spice and limestone notes. Juicy Anjou pear, nectarine and golden delicious apple note with hints of liquorice root. Fresh white peach and soft star anise on the finish. Intense nose juicy palate, long soft finish.

PAIR WITH

A light salad, fish, chicken, or a spicy Asian or Hispanic dish.

Pinot Noir

Vintage: 2009

THE WINE

100% Pinot Noir

THE FLAVOURS

Medium garnet hue, dark currant with hints of maraschino cherries. Subtle hints of saddle leather, cigar box and a faint barnyard nose. Palate has soft tannins with medium bodied finish and refeshing acidity. Candied almonds, a touch of coffee detected not bad for a first time Pinot!!!

PAIR WITH

Salmon in a cream sauce or chicken in a citrus butter sauce.
